Workers of the Nigerian tourism development corporation, NTDC, on Wednesday at the headquarters in Abuja, embarked on a protest where they asked for the removal of the corporation’s Director General, Folorunsho Coker.

According to the protesters, who milled outside the Corporation’s headquarters, Coker was allegedly corrupt and treated them with disdain.
They held placards with inscriptions such as ‘Folorunsho Coker Stop All Impunity and Financial Recklessness in NTDC’, ‘Only Coker Attends Foreign Exhibition’ and ‘Folorunsho Coker We are Tired of your Insult, we are not slave’ among others.
Recall that the embattled DG was Lagos State Commissioner for Tourism and Culture, and was sacked alongside two other commissioners by Gov. Akinwunmi Ambode about this time last year.
