The community of Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, Osun State, on Saturday was thrown into mourning following the sudden death of a lecturer, Mr Nicholas Igbokwe.
Igbokwe , a senior lecturer in the Department of Physical and Health Education was reportedly found dead in his office.
According to report, prior to his demise on the fateful day, late Igbokwe was full of life and showed no sign of death lurking around him.
The Public Relations Officer of the university, Mr Abiodun Olarenwaju said of the sad incident: “It’s a pity we lost him. Nobody expected that. He was brought into the hospital this morning dead.”
