Former President Goodluck Jonathan’s nephew Mr. Oguanisi Akpusu, is walking free after shooting two persons during a masquerade in Emeyal 1 community in Ogbia Local Government Area of Bayelsa State.

Akpusu was earlier arrested but released after persons close to Jonathan told the police authorities in the state to let him off the hook.
Strangely, the Commissioner of Police in the state, Mr. Asuquo Amba, came to the suspect’s defence.
“Preliminary investigations showed that it was a case of accidental discharge at a masquerade in Otuoke and Emeyal area of Ogbia LGA. The victims are being taken care of by the suspect and the Ogbia people. It may have been a mistake,” Asuquo said while parading other criminal suspects at the police command on Friday.
