The Ogun State Council chairman, Wale Adedayo who alleged Gov Dapo Abiodun of improprieties, one of which is purported diversions of the allocations belonging to local government areas for two years, is in the custody of the Department of State Services.
Adedayo stirred up a hornet’s nest by accusing Gov. Abiodun in a petition to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission and a letter to former Governor of the state, Chief Olusegun Osoba of several fraudulent practices.
His allegation however earned the one-time Chief Press Secretary to Senator Gbenga Daniel during the latter’s time as Governor DSS’ invitation.
Report said he honoured the invitation on Friday and has been in detention since then at the SSS headquarters in Abeokuta.
The governor, it was further gathered was on Thursday at the secret police office.
