Ogun postpones lockdown

Governor Dapo Abiodun on Monday postponed the lockdown on Ogun State earlier scheduled to commence on Monday night amid the coronavirus.

President Muhammadu Buhari had in a live nationwide broadcast on Sunday imposed a 14-day curfew on Lagos, Abuja and Ogun to curtail the spread of the pandemic with the commencement time, 11.00pm on Monday, 30th.

However, Gov. Abiodun said that of Ogun has been put on hold and now to begin on April 3 to enable residents prepare adequately and stockpile their homes with basic necessities

The governor stated this in Ikenne while inaugurating the 128 beddings COVID – 19 Isolation Centre at the HID Awolowo Model School.
