Christopher Dega, the Senior Special Assistant on Security to Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom, has been killed by unknown gunmen.
Dega, a retired police officer left the force with the rank, AIG.
He was gruesomely murdered in Jos as his killers shot him in the chest several times on Tuesday.
The deceased, who hailed from Katsina Ala local government area in Benue was twice Commissioner of Police in Borno and Edo States.
