Two-time African Footballer of the Year, Kanu Nwankwo said former national teammate, Osaze Odemwinge, needed help and prayers, suggesting the ex-West Brom striker is going through some challenges.
Singer Peter Okoye was the first to raise concern about situation with Odemwinge after the ex-international accused him of using his lottery business to dupe people.
His vitriol at Kanu’s wife, Amara, accusing her of chasing him has drawn the reaction of the former Arsenal star who in an interview with Daily Sun said something to the effect that his ex-teammate was having some problems and called for prayers and help to deliver him.
“The accusation is laughable and I think he (Osaze) needs our help and prayers,” he told the paper.
