Edo State governor, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, has been accused of being behind the Nigerian Labour Congress, NLC crisis, that has factionalized the union.

Making this accusation against the former labour leader turned politician, is NLC’s ex-Vice President, Comrade Fidelis Edeh while sharing his view on the strike action embarked upon by the Ayuba Wabba-led NLC faction before it was called off in the evening on Sunday.

Comrade Edeh, who provided an insight into what went behind the scene, also said the Ayuba Wabba-led NLC faction gave a reason to doubt the sincerity of the strike.

His word: “I tell you there is no sincerity; what they are doing is rig-marole. How do you define sincerity when even the leader¬ship lacks legitimacy? Again there is this issue which has to be said; at what point would the NLC stand on its own? We all know that Adams Oshiomhole has paid his price for labour, but Adams is a clear politician.

“Mind you, while this crisis was on, some veterans in¬cluding Adams were brought in to resolve it. So, can you not now read politics that it is in the interest of the APC that NLC would not be allowed to be united?”
