The Vice President Prof. Yemi Osinbajo has retrieved the sack letters handed to thirty five of his aides by the presidency pending the return of President Muhammadu Buhari from London.
Reports of the affected aides being issued letters of their sack emerged on Wednesday reinforcing rumour that there is trouble between Buhari and Osinbajo.
The Vice President, according to Daily Trust, retrieved the sack letters from the affected aides with the view to confirm from the president if he authorised it.
“The vice president has retrieved the sack letters from the affected aides. He is unhappy with the development and awaiting the return of the president from the United Kingdom,” the paper quoted two sources in the villa as saying.
