Gov. Oyetola of APC and Adeleke of PDP

The killing of a chieftain of the National Union of Road Transport Workers in Isokan local government area in Osun State, and a grassroots leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Kazeem Alli, has been laid at the doorstep of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

Ali was shot dead on Saturday evening in Apomu by gunmen, who were on his trail, while the deceased was heading to Oke Alfa in his car. His killers occupied two cars with which they used to follow him, and shot him dead at their convenience, according to several accounts in public domain.

Ali’s killing, the Media Adviser to Osun APC chairman, Kola Olabisi said, was masterminded by the PDP in the state.

Olabisi threw this accusation at the main opposition in a statement he released in which he said, “APC chairman, Gboyega Famodun, was apparently disturbed, stated that the killing of the 48-year-old APC chieftain, Kazeem Alli popularly known as Kekere Pasuma, from Ward 6 who performed actively during the last governorship election, was wicked, callous and highly condemnable.

“It was gathered that some gunmen allegedly sponsored by some stalwarts of the Peoples Democratic Party on Saturday killed the APC chieftain.”
