Over 20 medical and dental students have been kidnapped, alongside a house officer in Benue State.
Report has it that the kidnapped students are from the University of Maiduguri and the University of Jos, and were travelling to the Federation of Catholic Medical and Dental Students (FECAMDS) annual convention in Enugu.
It added that their abductors ambushed them around 5.30pm in Otukpo area of Benue State.
As at the time of writing this report, the kidnappers were yet to reach out to quarters they deemed appropriate to demand for ransom.
Kidnapping is a common problem in Benue State.
