The rumour of the death of one of the star actors, in the rested television drama series, The New Masquerade, Mrs. Lizzy Ovueme, aka Ovuleria, has been dismissed.
Ovuleria’s rumoured death was circulating on the social media.
Chief Chika Okpala, who acted as lead character Chief Zebrudaya Okorigwe Nwogbo alias 4.30, in the said series dismissed the report in an interview with The Nation.
“I just spoke with her few minutes ago before your call came in. She is okay in Port Harcourt,” Okpala told the paper.
Recall that Ovularia acted as wife Chief Zebrudaya in the drama that ruled the Nigerian television screen in the late 70s.
