The Oyo State Government on Sunday demolished the building, housing Fresh FM, the radio station and the property of artiste, Yinka Ayefele in Ibadan.
The demolition exercise, which was carried out early in the morning despite court order restraining the government, was witnessed by the crippled singer in his wheel chair watching the scene alongside hundreds of sympathisers.
In the build-up to today’s action, the government said that the building contravened physical planning rules, while Ayefele claimed it was politically motivated.
