A pastor, Apostle Ikenna Okafor of Great Minds Prayer Ministry, Benin, has been arrested after he was allegedly caught burying charms in front of his church.
Currently detained at Esigie Police Division, Apostle Okafor(pictured) who denied the allegation said the land where his church is built on is in built and he was at the church to remove a charm buried by some people.
Reports have it that one Chinedu Nnamdi, who lives in the neighbourhood of the
church reported the matter at Esigie Police Division after he allegedly caught Apostle Okafor burying charms in the ground and chanting incantation around 2.00am on Saturday morning.
Sources told OrijoReporter that neighbours’ attention were drawn to the scene by Nnamdi and Apostle Okafor was prevented from leaving the scene of the incident until the police were invited to whisk him away.
