Founder and General Overseer of God’s Favour & Deliverance Ministry in Lagos, Pastor Daniel Onwugbufor has been taken into custody by the Ogun State Police Command on suspicion of armed robbery.

Onwugbufor, who hails from Anambra State was arrested at his residence at Iba Local Council Development Area of Lagos State on Thursday, February 1, 2018, along with one Israel Animashaun, by men of the Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad.
Their arrest followed a series of car snatching incidents at gunpoint in Aja area of Lagos which the command had been trying to unravel.
It happened that the robbery suspects’ bubble burst when one of the snatched cars, a Lexus RX 330 Jeep, was tracked to the pastor’s residence by policemen attached to Ogun State.
The State Command Public Relations Officer, Abimbola Oyeyemi, has confirmed the pastor and Animashaun’s arrest adding that security operatives were hard on the trail of other members of the gang.
