A pastor of the Church of Christ Nations, Luka Levong, and the church treasurer, Maina Abdullahi, have been killed in Yobe State.
Levong and Abdullahi met their deaths at the hands of marauding Boko Haram members in the early hours of Friday in an attack that took place at Geidam.
Their killers invaded the area and in the ambush burnt down several houses and a church.
It was further gathered that some persons also suffered casualties among whom are five persons who were equally killed.
“Some other corpses have been evacuated to the Specialist Hospital, Geidam, including those injured,” sources said.
