Petrol scarcity is looming across the country as oil workers embarked on strike on the directive of their umbrella body, Petroleum and Natural Gas Senior Staff Association of Nigeria, PENGASSAN.
PENGASSAN gave the order on Sunday arising from its members’ displeasure at their inclusion in the Integrated Payroll and Personnel Information System by the federal government.
The order was contained in a memo to all its branch chairmen dated November 8, 2020, and signed by the General Secretary, PENGASSAN, Lumumba Okugbawa.
