The National Assembly on Thursday was thrown into chaos following the closure of the gate by security operatives who prevented the Speaker of the House of Reps, Aminu Tambuwal from gaining access to the House to preside over the deliberation on the extension of emergency rule in the North-East.
The Police fired tear gas at the Speaker and other lawmakers. In these pictures, some lawmakers are caught scaling the fence to enter the
