The Lagos State Police Command has made its position known on the petition Tiwa Savage penned to the security organisation against fellow singer, Davido.
The latter was accused of threat to life by Tiwa in the petition where she put their differences down to a picture of her with Davido’s baby mama, Sophia Momodu, which she posted online.
“He(Davido) has also told our connections to warn me to ‘be careful in Lagos because he was going to f”k me up’. This is beginning to feel like some form of online and offline harassment not just to me but also members of my team. The action of MR. DAVID ADELEKE is unethical and can be viewed as a direct threat to my rights to life, privacy, and dignity of my person,” she wrote in the petition.
The police has launched investigation into the allegation.
This, is according to the state Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin.
“I can confirm to you that we have received the petition and investigation has commenced,” Hundeyin told Punchng.
Symptom that Tiwa and Davido’s relationship has soured emerged after both unfollowed each other with the songstress’ ex, TeeBillz later confirming the antipathy in a social media post where he lashed out at the Omo Baba Olowo crooner.
