A policeman, Kabiru Odejimi, has been accused of killing one Idris Jagun in Oregun area of Lagos State.
The killing, according to report, took place on Sunday night in the area.
Odejimi, who is attached to Alausa Police division allegedly shot Idris, a generator repairer, in the tigh and prevented medical personnel at the local government health centre from coming to the rescue of the 24-year-old.
That account, is by a Facebook user, Nofi Lawal who said in a post on her timeline alongside a video; “One policeman kabiru odejimi from Alausa division shot an innocent boy indigenous boy of Oregun Idris Son of jagun dead. Which(sic) he refuse(sic) the doctors at Oregun health centre from removing the bullet till the innocent boy gave up. Shot straight bullet to Idris ( deceased) without any evidence or so ever. Intervention of the Alausa division DPO and the Commissioner of police Lagos state and general awareness.”
