A yet-to-be-identified policeman was beaten to a stupor for pushing a motorist to the path that may have led to the victim’s death.
The incident happened in Ketu area of Lagos State.
Report said in a quest to wrest the car steering from one Yusuf, and disposed him of the vehicle over alleged breach of traffic rule, a group of policemen pushed him to the front of oncoming BRT.
The latter crushed the motorist and rendered him on conscious.
Seeing the consequences of their action, eyewitnesses said the police fled the scene but one of them was unfortunate.
He was said to have been caught and beaten to a stupor.
