Policeman dies after returning from work

A policeman by the name, Jeremiah Omaga, has died hours after complaining of ill-health on return from work. 

Late Omaga, an Inspector serving with the Ago Palace Police Division of the Lagos State Police Command until his sudden demise had returned from work to Queen Barracks in the Apapa area of the state where he lived with his family complaining of being sick, prompting the wife now widow to call for help to take him to the hospital, where he passed away, according to Punchng that broke the news. 

A family of the deceased, one Kazeem Bonobi was said to have told the paper that the deceased Inspector died of blood pressure and high sugar level citing the outcome of the medical test carried on him by the hospital. 

Quoting the source, it wrote: “A test was carried out on him immediately he got to the hospital. But he gave up in the middle of the night before they could even provide the result of the tests. 

“But as we prepared to move his corpse, we were told to wait for the outcome of the tests so as to know what to write on his death certificate. 

“When the result came out, it was stated that his death had to do with his sugar level and high blood pressure.”
