A bullet fired at a show popular Fuji Musician, Wasiu Alabi Pasuma, performed, reportedly killed a man simply identified as Alabi, who took no part in the event.

The sad incident happened last Friday at Era village, Oto Awori Local Council Development Area, Ijaniki, Lagos State during ‘2017 Abule Oje Day,’ organised by the youths of the area where Pasuma serenaded his fans.
The deceased, who coincidentally shared the same name with the popular artiste was into furniture making and was not involved in the party.
He was said to be on transit as he was coming from a neighbouring village, Ilogbo village where he had gone to buy materials for his business and had branched at a mosque to observe the Friday Prayer.
He was, however, hit on the chest by a stray bullet fired at the event by policemen, who provided security for his namesake at the show.
Late Alabi, according to those who knew him, had just become a landlord. It was said that recently he completed his house at Oko-Afo village, and was planning to move in with his family.
His killing, however, made his plan fell through as his body was buried in the building’s premises.
