On the strength of a clip of actor Olaiya Igwe in nude supplicating to supernatural forces to enable the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu wins the upcoming 2023 election, he would face the disciplinary committee of the Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners of Nigeria (TAMPAN), if actress and an executive member of the association, Rose Odika is to be believed.
Odika made this known in an interview with Punchng where she acknowledged that it was within Igwe’s righ to support any person or party of his choice, adding that what is in contention is whether his act of nudity is in order or not.
Her word, “He has the right to support whoever he wants to, but we have the moral justification angle. We are looking at the morality behind that advert (video). It is not about who he is supporting. It is about him breaching the code of ethics (of our association and industry.”
