A primary school pupil of Kubwa primary school in the Federal Capital Territory, Sunday Okwuobodo, has died while playing football.
Okwuobodo’s demise occurred on Wednesday at the school’s football pitch while he was playing ball with his mates, Daily Trust reported.
The paper further gave an insight into the incident that led to death of the seven year-old primary pupil, saying he slumped after heading the ball while he was playing on the school’s football pitch during the morning break.
Sequel, he was immediately rushed to the Kubwa General Hospital by some teachers where he was pronounced dead, the report said.
