Ekiti State Governor, Mr. Ayodele Fayose has attributed the refusal of the Senate to confirm Ibrahim Magu as substantive chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, to a cabal in the presidency.

The Senate had cited DSS security reports as its reason for not confirming Magu.
But in a post on his Facebook page, the Special Assistant to Ekiti State Governor on Public Communications and New Media, Lere Olayinka added a new twist to the reasons.
He wrote, “have said it before that for exposing how Diezani Madueke contributed to Buhari campaign through Sahara Energy (whose boss today is the PPPRA Chairman), Baba Daura, Baba Funtua, Kyari, Daura (DSS), Dambazzau and El’Rufai won’t make Magu EFCC boss lailai.
“EFCC boss is coming from Kaduna Police College soon.”
