An Igbosere Magistrate’s Court, Lagos, has ordered the remand of a pastor of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Felix Olu Fadare over his involvement in a land scam.
An Obafemi Awolowo University alumni, Fadare(pictured) pastored the Fullers Field parish in Ajah and hails from Ilara in Ondo State.
He is charged with fraud for allegedly conspired with one Adeola Ajidahun to defraud Tony Ezeoke and Kehinde Ola of various sums.
The suspects allegedly swindled Ola out of N30m and Ezeoke N100m under the pretence of selling them plots of land at Lekki Re-settlement Schemes in Eti-Osa local government.
Appearing before magistrate Mrs. A. O. Awogboro on Monday, the suspects pleaded not guilty and were granted bail. The case was adjourned till February 3.
However, Pastor Felix Olu Fadare of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, and Adeola Ajidahun are remanded in Ikoyi Prison until they perfect their bail conditions.
