A two-man syndicate on motorcycle on Thursday in Gusau, the Zamfara State capital in front of a branch of Unity Bank mistook a polythene-bag held by the regional editor of Leadership newspaper, Abba Kabara(pictured) that had loaves of bread in it for loads of cash and snatched it.

The 60-year-old who was at the bank to make some clarifications was approaching his vehicle when the robbers moved towards him with their Okada, snatched the polythene-bag and vanished into thin air.

Narrating the incident, the Bayero University graduate said: “There were only about twelve pieces of locally made bread inside the bag which I decided to buy from Kano in order to compliment a request by my bride, and nothing valuable like money to be bitter upon the loss.”
