Former Senate President Bukola Saraki was on Sunday afternoon taken into custody by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, over allegation of money laundering and misappropriation of public fund.

Saraki, according to report, arrived at the EFCC Abuja headquarters around 2.00pm and has since been subjected to interrogation by the operatives.

It remains to be seen if the ex-governor of Kwara State will pass the night in the anti-graft agency’s office or otherwise.

Recall that three days ago former Nasarawa Governor, Tanko Al-Makura and his wife, Mairo, were also guests of the EFCC to answer accusation of financial misconduct while in the saddle of the state as the first couple.
