The Senate on Thursday adjourned plenary sitting till next week’s Tuesday due to a faulty Air Conditioner System.
The Senators had gathered at the Chamber for the day work when a minor fire incident at the control room of the complex caused by power surge threw the lawmakers and people around into panic as everyone scampered for safety.
And when the dust settled after over an hour, Sen. Abdullahi Gobir raised a point of order to lament that the chamber was not conducive for the lawmakers as the Air Conditioner system was faulty.
Senate President Bukola Saraki ruled that the session be adjourned while the repairs should be done over the weekend.
