Federal lawmaker representing Anambra South Senatorial District, and Chief Executive Officer of Capital Oil, Senator Ifeanyi Ubah, is dead.
Uba, an oil mogul owned one of the largest tank farm in Nigeria.
The deceased Senator, who recently defected to the ruling All Progressives Congress from Young Progressive Party died at aged 52 in United Kingdom.
Report said he died at a London hospital on Saturday morning after he was rushed abroad for an undisclosed sickness few weeks back.
His condition, it was gathered, deteriorated in the past 48 hours culminating in his passing away.
Ubah was elected Senator in 2019 on the platform of the Young Progressive Party, YPP, and reelected on that platform in 2023.
He defected to the All Progressives Congress, APC, earlier this year and has indicated interest in seeking the governorship of Anambra State in next year’s election.
