The last may not have been heard of the certificate forgery trouble besetting the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP governorship candidate in Delta State, Sheriff Oborevwori.
Oborevwori doubles as the Speaker of the State House of Assembly.
He has been a subject of scandal that the WAEC Result he submitted to the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, was forged. over which Olorogun David Edevbie, who came next to him at PDP governorship primary dragged him to court and sought his disqualification.
A Federal High Court sitting in Abuja had ruled in favour of Edevbie; but the Speaker is currently challenging the decision in Appeal Court.
The latest episode, SaharaReporters said, was an alleged forensic report by the police, which traced the WAEC certificate Oborevwori is reportedly parading to that of his family member, identified as Mr. Francis Oborevwori, who according to the report is sixteen years the Speaker’s junior.
It said, Francis was born in 1979 and wrote the WAEC examination in 1999 whereas Sheriff Oborevwori was born in 1963 and was 36 years-old in 1999.
Quoting the said forensic report, the publication wrote, “That the passport photographs marked exhibit A and B are single passport photograph of one person made at a time and lifted from Document marked A, and place on the Document marked B at different period.”
Continued: “The passport photograph marked exhibit C-C1 is not the same person in the passport photographs marked exhibit A and B.
“The passport photographs marked exhibit A, B and C-C1 are different individual passport photographs.”
