A member of staff of Shoprite in Akure, the Ondo State capital, Jumoke Kehinde, has reportedly committed suicide over her suspension from work.
Multiple reports said Kehinde killed herself at her apartment located at Kajola area hours after her suspension upon resuming late to work.
She was said to be at her beat in readiness for the day’s work on the fateful day when she received news of her suspension and left the mall at 11.00am only to be found dead around five hours in her apartment with her body oozing of insecticide.
The 23-year-old’s remains is said to have been deposited at the morgue.
