A fresh student at the Kwara State College of Education, Aminat Akanke Tajudeen is dead.
Aminat’s death occurred on Wednesday afternoon in the school premises, a day to her matriculation.
She was said to have obtained her matriculation gown on the same day for the ceremony scheduled for Thursday and returned to class.
By report, the student of Music/Yoruba, was in class receiving lecture when she slumped, and consequently rushed to the school clinic and later University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital where she was confirmed dead.
It was further gathered that the deceased student was buried according to Islamic rite, on the fateful day and would have been a year older on Thursday.
