The federal government through is agencies has reportedly frozen the bank accounts of Yoruba Rights activist, Sunday Adeyemo, better known as Sunday Igboho.
This was according to Adeyemo himself in an interview with Vanguard.
“They have frozen my bank accounts because I am fighting a just course. I know Yoruba people are behind me. “I will not relent. I must achieve my aims by putting an end to criminalities in Yorubaland. “If they refuse to release my accounts, there will be serious protests across the South-West,” he told the paper.
The activist, who has been at the forefront of the fight against incessant criminal activities perpetrated by bad elements among the herders in Southwest, in a GoFundMe raised several millions of naira in donations for his operation.
