Immediate past Super Eagles coach Sunday Oliseh has been appointed as head coach of the Dutch second tier club Fortuna Sittard.

The former Super Eagles captain, and manager, signed an 18-month contract with Fortuna Sittard, a club-side that was relegated from the Dutch first tier in 2002.
In 2011–2012 season the club missed qualification for the playoffs for promotion to the Eredivisie by a whisker, conceding an equalizer in the dying seconds of the season in the home match against the Go Ahead Eagles.
In 2012–2013 and 2013–2014 they also most returned to the Eredivisie having qualified for the promotion playoffs but lost both first round matches against De Graafschap.
Presently Fortuna Sittard sits in the 17th position in the Jupiler league table, a league consisting of 20 teams.
Oliseh will take charge of training at the club for the first time on 2 January, and among the players he will meet on ground are two Nigerians, Junior Torunarigha(pitured above) and Randy Onuoha(pictured right).
Son of Ojokojo Torunarigha, a former footballer, who played for a number of clubsides in Germany, 26-year-old Junior Torunarigha is an attacker.
A dual citizen of Netherlands and Nigeria, 22-year-old Randy Onuoah is a left-back.
