An internet fraudster better known as Yahoo boy has died in his bid to escape arrest by police.
The incident happened at Ayobo area of Ipaja in Lagos State.
Report said the deceased had tattoos on his body which made the plain-clothed policemen thought of him as an Internet fraudster.
His attempt to flee from arrest by running cost him his life as he landed in a canal and died from injuries he sustained.
“Efforts were made to save his life: he was brought out of the canal and rushed to the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital but lost his life eventually,” sources narrated.
