In yet another coldblooded attempt on the life of a minor, a Suya seller in Lagos, simply identified as Abdullahi, attempted to slaughter a four year-old girl and use her body for Suya.

The incident happened at Ebute Meta where Abdullahi abducted the girl(name undisclosed) while she was playing with her mates in an open field at White Sand area.
The Suya seller was said to have taken his victim to a secluded area where he was about slaughtering her with kitchen knife when a Good Samaritan who had seen the man with his victim burst onto the scene and raised alarm, which attracted other people.
In the course of rescuing the girl, it was gathered that the suya seller who resisted the people stabbed one person and bit another.
Commissioner of Police, Mr. Fatai Owoseni confirmed the incident to newsmen on
Wednesday while the suspect was being paraded.
Owoseni added that the suspect was in detention at Denton Police Station, Oyingbo.
However, a brother to the suspect, who identified himself simply as Ibrahim, and was at the venue of the parade, claimed Abdullahi was mentally ill, adding that he has been battling the illness over the last five years.
