Taxify drivers on Thursday, took to major roads in Lagos to stage a protest and impress it on the public that they do not engage in criminal activities.OrijoReporter.com, Taxify drivers

The protest followed allegation by actress Dorcas Shola Fapson that one of them whom she was a passenger in his car around 12.00am attempted to abduct her, a claim the driver had denied claiming the actress was lying through her teeth and threatening to sue her.

The protesters pasted placards on their cars reading  “We are not rapists,”  “We are not kidnappers,” “We are partners in this business,” “No driver partners, No Taxify, No Uber, No Riders,” “We need respect from riders,” among others.
