A policeman, Tayo Oluwafemi, drank himself to death at Agbado-Oke-Aro in Ifo Central Local Council Development Area of Ogun State.

Tayo better known as Jenbe P died on Friday, January 15, 2018 at Elamex Hotel located at Toyin Street in Oke-Aro after consuming a bottle of gin on the same spot he finished up the drink.
The 36-year was a sergeant, and was attached to Ajuwon Police State in Ifo South LCDA. He had gone out with friends mostly civilians when the incident happened. They were said to be on a drinking spree and had been at a bar earlier before storming Elamex for another session.
“He was with his friends drinking when suddenly he slumped and was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was confirmed dead on arrival,” sources told OrijoReporter.
It was said that Jenbe P’s death landed his friends who were with him at the hotel in trouble. They were arrested and detained for a day by the police on suspicion that the deceased cop was poisoned.
It was gathered that the deceased was popular among internet fraudsters(Yahoo boys) in the area, and his link with them earned him his nickname.
Tayo is survived by his children, wife and parents. His remains was interred on Saturday at his residence in Osere Odo in Matogun, Ogun State.
