Report has emerged that a teacher with Araromi Ilogbo Secondary School in Oko Afo, Lagos, beat a pupil, identified as David Babadipo to death.
The video of the moment Babadipo passed away on Thursday is currently trending on social media.
However, report bordering on the incident has been conflicting.
But what gained traction is that the 16-year-old pupil was flogged to death by a teacher named, Oluwale.
The deceased, the report said, was confirmed dead in the hospital he was rushed to, with his demise leading to protest by his colleagues.
It was further stated that the matter has been reported to officers at the Morogbo Police Station at Badagry Expressway.
