A teenager has died in Lagos in the course of working with his step-father at a building construction site.
The unnamed teenage boy’s death occurred on August 2, at 1.00 pm when he went to work with his step-father, a welder, to build a scaffolding in a building under construction at Church Street, Alagbado.
Giving the fact of the matter, Lagos Police Command Public Relations Officer, SP Benjamin Hundeyin said, “In the process of work, the boy stepped on life wire that was carelessly connected from an electric pole and he died on the spot.
“He was rushed to the hospital and was confirmed dead by the doctor on duty.“The scene was visited by a team of detectives from the division.
“The corpse has been removed from the scene. “However, no mark of violence was seen.
“The step-father has been brought to the station for questioning.”
