Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom, said he has been denied access to President Muhammadu Buhari in the last four years.
Ortom is known for casting aspersions on Buhari, alleging the president of having sympathy for marauding Fulanis and not lifting a finger to address their dastardly acts in the state.
In an interview with Vanguard, the governor said, his antagonism has cost Benue some benefits from the federal government, while in the last four years, he is not allowed to meet the nation’s president.
“I have not seen the President for four years, they have blocked me and I said fine, let me stay and do my work because I was not elected by presidency.
“I have been denied a lot of things that would have come to Benue state, nothing comes here.
“Those people who are against me and are working for APC, it is their shame because I expected that they didn’t want me to have any access to the President,” he told the paper.
