The President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has dispelled rumour of not being in good health on his return to the country.
Tinubu returned back from France 34 days after leaving Nigeria’s shore during which his absence was attributed to health issues in some reports.
The ex-Lagos governor on arrival alongside his wife, Senator Oluremi Tinubu and son, Seyi, at Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport in a private jet on Monday told the cheering crowd who came to welcome him to dismiss purveyors behind his reported health issues.
He added that on the contrary, he is in good physical condition, and equal to the task of running the country.
His word, “I’m happy to be back. I have rested, I’m refreshed and I’m ready for the task ahead.
“Forget about what the rumour mill may have told you. I’m strong, very strong.”
