Tiwa Savage has opened the lid on the man she referred to in her hit track song ‘Somebody’s son’.
‘Somebody’s son’ is one of the tracks in Tiwa’s EP, Water and Garri, which was dropped last year. The song smells of the mother of one troubled marriage with her ex, Tee Billz and sexcapade of which a video of her in the act with a lover went viral.
The singer is believed to have sung with hope that her single status would one day be a thing of past.
The award-winning songstress at the BudXLagos FIFA Kick-Off Concert at Eko Hotel, Lagos over the weekend revealed who she was referring to in the track, and it was no other person than, than the Lord Jesus Christ.
According to her: “I am going to tell you guys this story, when I did this song, yeah, a lot of people were like ‘this is a sure hit but only girls are going to sing this song, guys are not going to sing it. And they were like Tiwa you are taking a risk by making it your first single.’
”I said to them don’t worry one day I am going to tell this story. You see somebody’s son I was talking about is actually Jesus Christ. For real, so whether you’re a man or woman we are all looking for that somebody’s son right”.
