Two persons have been murdered in the rally of members of Yoruba Self-Determination Struggle, also known as Ilana Omo Oodua Worldwide in Lagos on Monday morning.
A video of the scene of the dreadful incident in Ojota area of Lagos State where the event was scheduled to take place is circulating online.
In it, a member of the group, who gave his name as Saoti Igboho, spoke in Yoruba language of the incident with bodies of the casualties lying on the highway, and a police van on fire.
His word, “They have killed our people, and war has started. In reprisal attack we set ablaze their vehicle and will proceed to burn a nearby police station. Sunday Igboho, Prof Banji Akintoye i hope you are watching this.”
