The Kano Police Command have arrested two suspects in possession of 14 bags of fake specimen ballot papers in Kano metropolis.
The Command’s Public Relations Officer, DSP Abdullahi Haruna, disclosed this to newsmen in Kano on Thursday.
Haruna said the suspects were arrested around Metro Police Area Command following a tip-off adding that under interrogation the suspects owned up to the crime claiming they came to Kano from Jigawa State.
He said that the suspects were arrested on Wednesday evening by some Police officers attached to Metro Area Command in the metropolis.
He added that investigation was ongoing with the view to charge them to court.
