Gunmen on Monday killed two policemen and a civilian at Ahiara Junction in the Ahiazu Mbaise Local Government Area of Imo State.
The attack occurred in the course of the visit of the newly appointed Commissioner of Police, Danjuma Aboki, to his officers in Mbaise.
It happened at the point of the arrival of the police Chief.
It was said that the attackers opened fire on the cops, who were in uniform killing two of them while a passerby also suffered same fate from stray bullet.
The video of the incident with the victims’ lifeless bodies in the pool of their blood has gone viral.
