A brawl among six undergraduates over the heart of a girl, has led to the death of one in Jigawa State.
300-level English student of Federal University, Dutse, Jigawa, Bashir Musa(pictured) was last Friday killed in a fight over a girl in Yalwanzai area of the metropolis.
The 26-year-old according to source was dating Aisha Saleh, a National Diploma student of Accounting department of Jigawa State Polytechnic, Dutse, who allegedly was having affairs with five others.
Bashir and his rivals were all students of Federal University, Dutse, and Aisha visited one of them, Abdulnajib Ibrahim, when trouble started.
The State Police Command Spokesperson, DSP Abdul Jinjiri who confirmed the incident said Bashir, Ibrahim and four others were involved in a free for all fight during which the deceased was struck to death with a stick, adding that his assailants have all been arrested.
