A vehicle on Saturday night plunged into the lagoon at the University of Lagos (UNILAG) waterfront.

The incident happened to 11.00pm when the vehicle collided with another before plunging into the water.
Local fishermen reportedly joined officials of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) at the scene to rescue occupants who were trapped.
The General Manager of LASEMA, Adesina Tiamiyu confirmed the incident.
